Stuart Cassells è quel giovane piper che fece esultare la Royal Concert Hall di Glasgow nel 2005 quando vinse il prestigioso BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award.

Stuart Cassells (Highland bagpipes, border pipes) è in quest’album con Ross Kennedy (chitarra, bouzouki, vocals), Douglas Millar (piano, organo Hammond), Craig Strain (chitarra bassa), Paul Jennings (èercussioni), Martin O’Neill (bodhran), Simon Moran (violino), Lorne MacDougall (whistle basso), Nick Hawryliw (chitarra elettrica), Sandy Meldrum (tastiere) e con i Red Hot Chilli Pipers (Willie Armstrong, Steven Graham, Kevin MacDonald, Malcolm McEwan, Ross French, Lorne MacDougall).

Laureatosi e specializzatosi presso la Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama, Stuart Cassells sta contribuendo non poco al mondo del piping contemporaneo (Red Hot Chilly Pipers).

Egli è in grado di combinare un solido background di piping tradizionale con una reale capacità di “intrattenimento”; questo album è un chiaro esempio di tali doti.
